i know olds and gm really underrated their engines horsepower and i have a 72 cutlass with the 350 two barrel and dual exhausts does anyone know how much horsepower my car actually has? because the burnouts this thing does and the performance of the car doesnt feel like the 160 hp they rated it at
Oldsmobile were some of the Best Sleeper Cars for that era!!!!!!…………Gobs of Torque, and great Styling……….Awesome car!!!!!!………..I love it when I go to the strip and all the ricers………..have that look on their face when they got beaten by an Oldsmobile, Then they come over to see what is under the hood??$%#%&@#@
Yep, the ’68 Hurst is one of the 50 fastest factory muscle cars ever built. My dad’s best friend had a ’68 Hurst Olds in high school, sttll has it today, and my father said it was the fastest car he ever rode in, and that was back in 69′-70′. They were rated by the factory at 380hp, but the actual output was more like 425hp-450hp. Not to mention the 500lbs+ ft of torque they put out. Just plain all out raw horsepower.
